Young Diplomats (ages 4 - 7) Etiquette Certificate

Give a special child in your life a gift that will last a lifetime, enabling him or her to effectively participate in his or her future by handling social, scholastic and professional situations with grace and ease.Our goal is to give your child the necessary building block for a solid future through poise, confidence, integrity and leadership.. in an entertaining, fun environment. Participants will learn the power of etiquette, know how and why it is a valuable life-long skill that works to their benefit. They will learn and practice leadership, social dining and communication skills to enable them to feel comfortable and self-assured on any occasion.

Each workshop is interactive, based on role-plays and presentations, and a three to four course hands-on dining tutorial meal, and certificate of achievement. Featuring Peppermint the polite puppy © She is a captivating hand puppet that also appears in the illustrated take-home handouts. Her gracious presence not only captivating the attention of young children, but their affections as well. Family involvement is encouraged through take-home handouts that reinforce positive attitudes towards learning and applying good manners. Our 2 hour, half-day and full day workshops and dining tutorials are engaging, age-appropriate, play-nourished activities.

Little Ambassadors (ages 8 – 12) Etiquette Certificate

These classes will teach your child the foundations of good manners before they start school. Good Manners are an important part of society and will help lead to future success in your child’s life endeavours. "With the Little Ambassadors program, graduates will be polished and prepared to meet life’s social challenges and make a smoother transition into teen-hood."

This confidence building program is a well balanced blend of traditional etiquette standards with contemporary manners for the 21st Century. It promotes leadership through etiquette and dining skills. The programs are specifically designed for the pre-teen age group. They are highly interactive and fun, and are in harmony with the growing emphasis on character education and positive self-esteem. When pre-teens know how to handle themselves in different social situations, their confidence and self-esteem will soar! Workshop Schedule:
Below is an outline of the basic schedule for the day, there will be a 10 minute break in the morning and afternoon, students need to bring their lunch if they do not wish to participate in the dining exercise as they will not allowed to leave the premise and must be able to go to the toilet on their own.

11:00 am - 12:00 am Introductions & greetings, social etiquette manners, elocution and social communication skills

12:00 pm - 12:40 pm The power of good grooming, dressing for all occasions and good hygiene.

12:40 pm - 1:20 pm  Lunch break and Dining Etiquette Exercise

1:20 pm - 2:30 pm  Table etiquette, the do’s and don’ts of dining, table settings, table conversations and manners, everyday manners and social media etiquette.

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm   Voice clarity and articulation, how to present and speak with presence and professionalism, positive body language.

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm  Deportment, posture, walking, sitting and standing, entering and exiting a room with confidence, using technology with healthy posture. Making a presentation using deportment and voice power, each attendee will make a short speech and presented with their certificate.
